103+ Factory

487
.

1+1+1+1 = 103+

Four closest girl friends opened an eatery that offers their favorite fusion dishes and desserts; it is the 103+ Factory. I am not a fan of fusion food, even though my Soi Ari resident friends told me that their cooked food is wonderful, so I would just stick to their pastries and desserts, of which they are the best that I can find in Ari area. (Oops do I forget the other cake shop on Ari Soi 5? That pretentious one - cheap cakes sold at an expensive price in a haunted house ambiance. I don't pay any attention to it after the first and also the last visit; let them serve those cakes to their ancestors!)

103+ Factory ***1/2
24/4 Ari Soi 4 (North)
Soi 7 Phaholyothin Road
Phayathai, Bangkok 10400
Tel.: 081.495.1555

Open daily : 11 am - 11 pm
Pay (dessert only for one): around THB 150

Cuisine is part of a culture, and cooking is a form of art.

Mae Yui

recipes, non spend money on antique cookbooks to cook her dish shines. Simply she has been brought up with the culture where she is belonged to, as she is Thai; so does her chef. Thus they understand the balance of five basic taste in Thai cuisine, having them stay in harmony in a dish without one overwhelming. Dine at Baan Mae Yui is like eating at any Thai auntie's house.

A taste of Viet-Ubon cuisine

We have shared many Thai-Chinese delis with their role as part of essential Thais culinary culture; such as guay-jub (a bowl of roll rice noodles with crispy pork and entrails), a Chinese influence Thai-Chinese delicacy widely adapted among the locals.

Further here we have the Viet-Ubon guay-jub yuan (a bowl of Ubon rice noodles with pork), the version of guay-jub of Ubon Ratchathani province with influence from Vietnam.

1. Ubon style Vietnamese guay-jub-yuan; 2. after seasoning

a bowl of Ubon rice noodle with pork (guay-jub-yuan)

4. Ubon somtam (spicy salad); 5. Thai-Viet style rice roll with minced pork
