Rustic and rusted
I recently passed by the Bharani at the Emporium and didn't see the restaurant breathing; seems this boat noodle joint had been closed for good.
If people really miss their boat noodles and Thai-farang food (European food with a Thai twist, not fusion, but of its culinary mean), Bharani has another hideaway branch at Asok's Soi Prasanmit that also serves those recipes since 1949!

Since 1949 means this is a old timer noodle house. Not easy to survive that long.
Some restaurants in HK also survived and gained a big name since 19xx.... but I really don't appreciate them, e.g. 蓮香樓 & 陸羽....
I know Look Yu but not the other one.
This is the price in LA too for the similar bowl of noodle.
