Thailand quietly became the center of gourmet and spas. In recent years Bangkok is rising as the capital of the World's kitchen. Wanna join me to explore the Kingdom? UCC Cafe

.
Comfort of fusion
UCC Cafe, a Japanese brand, is probably Thailand's first foreign coffee chain established in Bangkok, long before Starbucks landed in the Kingdom. Besides coffee and drinks, UCC Cafe offers neo-Japanese cuisine, with selective Thai dishes in addition, and choices of classic comfort food for the high-so(ciety) Siam kids, but not for foodies.
Before Starbucks existed, UCC Cafe (Siam Center branch) was my regular 'meeting-point' with friends, due to its very convenient and visible location in Siam Center.

UCC coffee is nice but the cream is a bit too thick but yet very aromatic. Really love and hate. :)
yes, J cum TH style ma
u c, UCC in Japan coffee and food only J-style element added, to Thailand now Thai + Japanese fusion, more cream, more sugar, so our stomach need to be fusion in order to drink (/eat) them .. *_*
So UCC Cafe has a long history in BKK before Starbucks.
This brand is not popular in LA.
I only see this coffee at "Whole Foods", one of Pixmation's favorite stops in Pasadena.
Ah... I forgot - extra syrup and extra milk to be in fusion. No doubt only the young can physically afford the drink and food. :)
