Cafe Chilli

.

Heat in your wallet

Cafe Chilli, a mall-attached Thai restaurant delivers earthy Issan delicacies in Siam Paragon, for the deep pocket high-so diners and tourists. Food quality and taste do not justify with the bill I paid.

If Kum Poon @ Cental World Plaza is still there (CWP were burnt by red-rioters on 19-May), I wouldn't have revisited Cafe Chilli yesterday.

Cafe Chilli **
Ground floor, Siam Paragon
991 Rama I Road
Prathumwan, Bangkok 10330
Tel.: 02.610.9877
Cafe Chilli

Open daily : 11 am - 9:30 pm
Pay (food only for two): around THB 2,000

Look forward to seeing this high-end restaurant.
Finally I can see some restaurant in BKK not worth the money.

I also tried this one when it was there in Siam Paragon and that's only that time. Again, I often told "if we wanna do something, do it right away.". Now no more Kum Poon... and I passed by it and fought for going in but failed.

i believe Kum Poon will return (actually her section had not been burnt) or open another branch in other mall, as this Issan eatery is very well receive by Bangkok shoppers and food critics

This looks nice but expensive.
Don't bring me here though.
I have a long list for you already.

First time I see the red sticky rice. So this restaurant has something special except you don't like the price!

yes this restaurant has something special and use of good ingredients, but the taste is adjusted to tourist-friendly (that's why i don't buy and gave her a 2 stars only) and the price a bit beyond mall price even Paragon is a luxury mall

if Benjarong charges the same price, i would say "oh, so cheap!" because it is the Dusit's Benjarong

but for Cafe Chilli, wrong positioning herself (that's why her Thonglor branch good-bye in just a year); Cafe Chilli can still survive at Paragon doesn't mean it is good, but too many high-so would like to eat Issan food in style after attending event or shopping
