How much do you think this superb 3-course lunch set at one of Bangkok most exquisite and prestige French fine dining restaurants shall cost?
It is THB 380++. A steal of the century for the connoisseur.
1st course (choice of appetizer)
potato leek soup, crispy bacon infused with fresh herbs and garlic cheese tortellini
/or smoked red snapper salad, with herbs, aging white balsamic & shallot vinaigrette
2nd course (choice of main course)
milk fed lamb shoulder, five-hour braising, served with baby veggie and natural jus; or/
poached ox tongue in aromatic broth, potato moussline garlic with herb infused pan jus
0r/ pan roasted pompano, with white bean puree and baby squid
3rd course (choice of dessert)
roasted pineapple, with dark rum sauce & pineapple cream cheese
or/ canel mint ice cream, in a pool of white chocolate carrot cream soup

I don't want to guess the lunch set. It won't be cheap to my standard, or to LA standard.

har, Le Normandie is $150 US per person but u love that bor! because Le Normandie is in MO-Bkk; or because Le Vendome is not in MO-Bkk so u think not worth it!

This looks like a very fancy restaurant, and a fancy French meal. Normally lunch set is cheaper than dinner meal.
Shall be about 700 baht!

The lunch is a big bargain considering the food quality, though services are yet to improve. I do agree it's a 4 star rating and may be 4.5 if services and some other details as per our notice at the meal. Thanks again for bringing to this lovely lunch.

also, if the manager didn't wear unfitted suit, and if the food weren't transport to our table via outdoor uncovered from the kitchen, a 4 and half stars may award to Le Vendome ..
You are right Mickey, Le Normandie at BO-BKK is different and unique and worth it. Nobody does it better than BO-BKK.
So how much is the lunch set?
I am sure this is more expensive than Le Normandie's lunch, otherwise you would brought me here.

I say such meal at a exquisite restaurant is expensive, even lunch. TC already shows us the lunch price is something within 3 digits. So the set lunch maybe 850 baht
I have been to its dinner. Lunch set maybe at 890 baht per person!

Stella, as a MO fan, if it's close to THB1,000, we would have just swift to Le Normandie. When TC told me to try this one instead of Le Beaulieu which is even closer to the hotel I stay, he suggested try this one and I know why is that after checking on the price. :)

Is this same Le Vendome used to take up a space in the All Season Place? Good restaurant. A class food. D class service.

Both THB 380++ (too low) and THB 1,180++ (more expensive than five star hotel) is not realistic. I guess it is between THB 580 to THB 980.
As a standalone restaurant, set lunch usually is very reasonable charged even dinner is expensive. This one I think set lunch is cost THB 580++. Choice B!

My guess is answer C(780 Baht) although from the food it looks like 980 Baht. But if it is really 980 Baht than TC would not ask us to guess so must be cheaper than it looks.

In fact, in terms of the out-of-proportion food quality and its price in BKK, everyday can be April Food Day in BKK.
