Maturos

Not all Yaowaraj eateries shine

I was brought to Maturos, a Thai-Chinese seafood eatery tucked into a shabby lane in the shoddy Yaowaraj, Bangkok's China Town. This non-air conditioned eatery is pretty run-down and the owner doesn't care about restaurant hygiene. Taste of food was just at average, though seafood was fresh, and lacking of some glory that might justify the relatively expensive bill at such no-frills eatery.

Yaowaraj, Bangkok 10110

Another rip-off meal. This area is now a stranger to me. :)

well it is not really rip-off, but slightly not worth, and there r tons of Yaowaraj seafood restaurants sit more comfortably (at least with air-conditioned dining room) at more reasonable price and better taste .. such as Tang Jai You

Good that I can skip this one. Otherwise too many places to consider is confusing.

Because live crab already charge 1000 baht.

Not too confusing. Eat where we would be then. :)

The fish looks tired and the soy sauce smelly, cheap thing?

Fish Burger really cares about the fish.
