Gem in the mist

This is a new restaurant recently opened in the revamped Siam Discovery Centre sixth and sixth A floors - the Sky Dining and Mood, with nice decoration and comfortable ambiance. First time to eat at this restaurant, it took me a few minutes at the entrance to figure out what kind of cuisine does she offer. It is about family Thai cuisine, and, it is Chor Moung.

It looks like an European restaurant. Maybe French food!

From the furniture and decoration, this is obviously a Western restaurant.

Another guessing game. Guess I shouldn't take part. :) This restaurant is really something. HIghly recommended.

yes, this is a nice restaurant (sad, in a quiet location), low price, probably the best at Sky Dining and Mood, so i hv to eat more frequent there - to support her

The restaurant looks huge, with different sets of furniture. Probably mixed/fusion cuisine?

Yes, we should support her more. Now I need to have this one on the Oct. agenda. :) Android, this one is worth a visit if you plan for a trip to BKK. The food is not that fusion and to me it's quite local. Some of the furniture is on the French restaurant of the neighbouring section.

This place has exceeded our expectation.
Good food, good environment and decoration and good price.
Thank you Trainer for finding this place to eat.
This balanced out the chicken place that did not meet our expectation so life is fair.

The past Sep. trip seemed to be a bit bumpy with quite several unexpected ups and downs. :)

呢個經驗係話俾我地知,幾出名或曾幾何時幾好食的名店,其'美食並唔係必然嘅',要靠運氣..sigh

You are right Mike.
We have to appreciate all the good food before it drops the watts as nothing is constant, whether good or bad.
Changing is the eternity.
