Fried noodles

So you have sampled pad Thai, the world-class stir-fried sen-chan noodles; and, raad-na, stir-fired flat rice noodles in gravy. However, sen (noodles) story doesn't stop here, Thailand definitely has more fried noodles dishes for us to sample.

Just to name a few more, they are:

1. mee-krob (crispy vermicelli of palace recipe in spicy, sweet and sour sauce)
2. phad kee-maow (stir-fried flat rice noodles with fresh peppercorn in pungent sauce)

3. goy-see-mee (wok-fried noodles with shredded chicken in brown sauce)
4. sen-mee pad haeng talay (wok-fried rice vermicelli with seafood)

5. phad si-iew (stir-fried flat rice noodles in soy sauce)
6. phad haeng (stir-fried flat rice noodles with eggs)

7. bamee phad haeng (pan-fried egg noodles)
8.
wok-fried e-fu noodles

Do they have the "two face yellow" kind of Cantonese stirred fried noodles in BKK? My Thai co-worker asked me to ask you.

the "2-face-yellow" actually is not Cantonese stuff, it is original Tiew-chow noodle, eaten with sugar and thick black vinegar

i haven't found any 'real' 2-face-yellow in BKK yet, maybe in Chinatown they hv, but as u know, i am kind of quite hesitated going to Yaowaraj, except business only

Hi TC,
I was reading the free magazine (EastWeek.com.hk vol 288)complimentary by Sing Tao Mewspaper every Sunday. The cover page is about Fung Duck Luen and Shu K. Inside they introduced BKK's new "po dim"(playing and eating spots)including the newly renovated Central World, the Vanilla Garden in Thong Lo, and the Red Sky in the new hotel in Central World.... I will bring you the magazine in 2 weeks.
From,
You know who

u hv been to Central World already, the Red Sky already in my blog "roof top dining 2" (just scroll down to find), and Vanilla by S&P is for Jap and Thai market, LA dimsum has better quality (anyway, Vanilla in Ekamai, not Thonglo)

Hi,
If LA dim sum has better quality than no need to go to that place.
However, I want to go to Red Sky for the drink, or Long Table.

SS, I would suggest not go to those hot places as posted by those magazines. Doesn't mean I am opposed to trying such places but we had better stay away from the crowd and explore something on our own instead.

TC, these are all sympolic fried noodles in Thailand. As for Seen Yai (flat rice noodle), I find that most shops in BKK do know the way of keeping this noodle well. It's generally quite tangy and not mashy. Unless there may be some unknown ingredients put to keep that well, those locals did do a good job. However, the local egg noodle is not as good as the flat rice noodle.

Thank you Sea for the advice. I am sure the two of you will suggest something good for me to go and eat.
