Gourmet Never Sleep
Three years ago I reviewed a restaurant where offers decent international fare after midnight. It is Green House Coffee Shop in the 4-star Landmark Hotel. The previous review was focused on her Chinese delicacies.
Today, let's take a look at her Western offer.
used to serve quality bread in a basket, now left-over bread serve on a plate, so cheap!

Agreed! Most of their Chinese and Western food are good. Congee and dumplng in soup are nice. Khao Mun Gai too. Their roast beef melted cheese is good...
This is one of those restaurants in BKK that I can remember well because I have been here since the very first trip, the food is good, they open all the time, they are in prime area, and they made one dinosaur throw up.:)
I like their congee, char siu, wonton noodle, steamed "Chong Fun", Bao, Kai Lan, almost everything is good.
the cheung-fun is not as good as before, other CN items r still on par, the western menu offer some traditional fare and most dishes r delicious but the salad need some improvement on choice of green
still, after midnight, this place is the best choice in Bangkok
for cheaper on bill, Marina HK is quite good too, on Siam Square Soi 1 (Soi Scala)
This one is better than Marina HK overall in terms of taste, food presentation, and the atmosphere.
But more expensive bor, and on top have to pay plus plus (service + VAT). Price not easy for average salarymen here.
I agree with you Yai.
For local Thai people I think Marina HK is more popular due to the price and food still good.
:)
Casablanca is back!
Just went there last night. We always order its Chinese food, never think the Western food also good. ZACK
