belGuardo

Mega mall, mini-buffet

After famed chef Marco Cammarata left for Niu's (Silom 19), sorry to see this once pretentious high-end Italian dine and wine corner now lost in Mars. To survive, belGuardo is very happy to roll out the THB 399++ all-u-can-eat lunch and dinner set (yes, dinner also!) of which consist of salad-by-order, buffet style antipasti table, choices of pasta à la minute, all-u-can-eat pizzas, desserts, fruits and coffee. Service is good. .

After a day of shopping with my pocket emptied (at last), such dinner deal is a rescue to my bank. (Oops for less than THB 500 including everything the food is decent, at least better than the one opposite or Pizza Company!)

This one used to be very expensive Italian restaurant. Now you compare it with Pizza Company! So no need to try.

Good to know there are still some 2-star so-so restaurants in BKK.
Thank you TC.

Mmh... for the last 2 times I went in for browsing what they have, I gave a warm smile to the waiter and turned down for a table. I agreed that it looks a bit better than the one opposite to it.

I think the management of Siam Paragon needs to remind those restaurants on the left lane of the basement to keep up at certain standard. I think only Kabuki, Tokyo Grill, Crystal Jade can be qualified to stay there.

AOI is also okay there, and the new Taling Pling is good.

Oops.. yes, they should be there and how can I forget MO deli cafe there? Need to punish myself by visiting them some time soon. :)

The slide show looks good and also the food.
I think this one is still a bargain for big eater like TC.

Just noticed the slide show. Haha.. 50mm at F3.5. Interesting. Nice work! You made the food more tempting than they are at the scene.

Seeing the shop entrance photo is a bit homesick for me.

Boring and pretentious restaurants in Siam Paragon, even food court is lousy, expensive drinks. I agree that Central World has better choice of restaurants. Reasonable price.

Really nice slide shows here. This makes the food looks attractive.
