It's what you told me last time on soi 41 Suk. Didn't realise this restaurant is good at something. It looks very hot.

Right the noodle looks so spicy. Khao Soi I think it is a Chiangmai deep fried noodle with curry sauce?

yes the khao soi is about deep-fried egg noodle in rich curry, very spicy, and this unique northern soup noodle is a few that not with a CN accent

This place looked familiar. Is this the one close to the hotel I stayed in August 2009?

yes it is at edge of Sukhumvit Soi 41

If you didn't tell me about this shop serving local Thai food, I would have thought that this one is a fast food deli or a Denny's or S&P style restaurant. :)

You are right SEA. This is what I thought when I passed by this Deli-like restaurant. I really think this is Denny type. Cannot imagine even a casual neighborhood shop has so many local Thai dishes. Really "straw covering the pearl".

Stella, it's a good example (though we often can't remove this subconscious thought) that don't let the look or image cover our mind.

My CX friend who is an experienced crew for over 15 years. She told me "don't think the rich men don't fly Economy. In fact, they prefer flying Economy. Business is for the corporate to spend their extra money that they can offset the tax.". So that also told why CX may have just business class and economy class and leaving only 1/4 of the fleet having first class. :)

yes first class is only for those like Madame A1 (Mrs no-mong-Tong)

An everlasting fun fact. Thanks Madam Tung for being true to herself, regardless of what she has done.

This khao soi noodle, deep-fried first then pour curry broth to it, is very interesting!

We also have deep fried fish dipped in curry gravy here in Thai Paradise.
