And for sure LA has no cake pop. Starbucks has very limited non-drink food items here as compared to BKK. And for sure no free gift too.

I remember my Canadian HK friend took me to the first Starbucks cafe in Seattle in 1992 and Starbucks wasn't in such a big scale back then. I was then told the shop was very famous in Seattle due to their own mixed selected coffee beans. I forgot how the shop was like actually as I wasn't into coffee at that time. Their coffee and choco. are pretty good and in HK at least it's better than Pacific coffee.
This year is quite special with so many of either 100 year or 40 or 60 year anniversaries.
Just found out Starbucks has the 40th anniversary celebration too here.
They offer free cake pop and other snacks from March 10 to 12 in the afternoon.
Will go this Sat.
