Häagen-Dazs
224
.
Better than none
Found 1961 in New York. Häagen-Dazs is a worldwide renowned brand in gourmet ice cream. Some countries only sell Häagen-Dazs ice cream in supermarkets. Lucky that in Thailand we were served in its ice cream parlor with choices of sundae and special items, though the local franchisee does not really know how to run a dessert restaurant. But better than none!

There was a time I went to Central Rama3 for a sundae at that local franchisee. They used a warm cup, put some lousy syrup, wet nuts and aged cream! Since then, I would only buy an individual cup, and I would try to get those made in France if possible. They are even more dense in texture (i.e. least air inside), less sweet and more aromatic.
Lucky you.
We don't have too many retail shops of Haggen Dazs in my area. There used to be a few in Shopping Mall but now closed down.
I only can buy from super market.
remember that many years ago, for two years, whenever i didn't do a smooth bowel service at home, i go to eat Haagaen-Dazs and within half a day the job didn't complete at home served, but this "service" is only available in its Silom branch attached to a S&P Restaurant, so we suspect the problem didn't come from the ice cream, but from the hygiene of that outlet
unfortunate that i am in TH, otherwise i will become a billionaire just to sue the brand (this benefit is limited to the US soil only)
I like to have diarrhea, feel so good after that. Just had one last Friday, one hour after eating Nestle ice cream cone and 2 white peaches.
The other thing is that not many people consumed their ice cream back then and they had the deal like B159 for 9 mini scoops. So we became the environmentalists to clean their due-to-expiry stock. So they give us the detoxifying program complimentary. :)
right the 9 mini scoops for THB 159 really a classic price
they used to hv my favorite cherry brandy but now disconnected worldwide, miss this flavor
Haagen-Dazs is the best ice cream brand I have ever had.
Just cannot believe either Haagen- Dazs is better in BKK, and more variety.
I really miss that 9 mini scoops at THB159 deal!
Me too.
Haagen-Dazs is very popular in Thailand due to the international branding. How about Italian's Gelato? Personally, I do enjoy indulging myself a Gelato on a hot sunny day. Is Gelato popular in Thailand? In fact, I am considering of joining the Gelato-university in Italy on a few week course on how to make Gelato.
