Little Home

.
Too big too be little
A Bangkokian bakery since 1951, the Little Home turns 60 next year.
First time I passed by Little Home, the impression was OMG another local owned pancake and bakery shop without merit. As time goes by, the bakery turns restaurant is one of my loved eating hut for late lunch.
The menu is big and food taste nostalgic. From delightful Thai fare of traditional recipes, to Western cuisine and American old school bakery items (taste adjusted to the Thais palate), my hut has them all. Little Home is simply too big too be little!

I love bakery shops.
Is this in Thonglor?
They serve Khao Chae, and they have branches i Silom/Saladaeng (inside soi Saladaeng?).
Stella, yes the address is #413/10 Soi Thonglo (or Thonglor) in this post
Sea, yes Little Home has a branch at Silom Complex (Central Department Store) at BTS Saladaeng
Thanks TC.
Mamamia, Thonglor has so many eateries!
Yes Fish Burger,
I was told Thonglor of BKK is like Lan Kwai Fong of HK.
Stella, please don't compare Thonglor to Lan Kwai Fong. Recently a big headline news about a rat biting a western woman in Central. It's all because those drunks from Lan Kwai Fong took public street as toilet or vomit in the street, making the place so dirty to attract rats. Thais are very tidy and clean. They clean their places thoroughly after work. Thonglor is more civilised - excuse me but I don't mean Lan Kwai Fong is not civilised but they are in an alternate way which my IQ is not high enough to comprehend. :)
Right Lan Kwai Fong is for drunken people and 3rd-line tv stars, but Thonglor is a place for elite Bangkokians, very different!
Besides, Thonglor doesn't have many bars, instead many top restaurants and lifestyle shops such as luxury spas and unique furniture stores.
So it cannot be the Bangkok's Lan Kwai Fong!
Never wanna go to that infamous Lan Kwai Fong.
Lan Kwai Fong used to be an alternate place for restaurants and cultural clubs (at least they play some more insightful music) but now something junk and people holding a beer in the street and "scanning" you from head to toes either on what you wear or even into what your body is.
gau-lo come to LKF to eat one dish - steam chicken with mushroom from the northern
