MO Independent Outlets

The independent duo

The Mandarin Oriental Hotel operates two independent restaurants outsides the hotel. One in Siam Paragon and the other in the Emporium. Both are all-day coffee shop style international dining venues, the prefect way to relax and recuperate on your Independence Day massive shopping.

Coffee shop is not design for fine dining (of course), but is good for light meal, and to do afternoon tea.

Stella, something strange on my blog. Your postings weren't there but I got messages of your postings. Not sure if it happens to any of you. If so, sorry about that. I guess some messages were even lost and not notified me.

Thank you for telling me SEA.
Yes that is why I don't trust computer since Day One. :)

Maybe it's under some attack. Stella, but it's hard to live without a computer nowadays. I still have something analog after all. :)

Stella said...

Yes MO again, and again.
Long live MO.
Long live BKK.
I can't leave BKK without MO.
Thank you SEA and TC for this good poison.

Not again. It's on our routine already.

Good to know I can have 4 safe(and good) meals in August:

MO Lord Jims
MO Author's Lounge
MO Normandie
MO China House

If I can have free MO breakfast then it is a bonus.

Thailand Club said...

free breakfast? there is no such offer until u r an in-house guest

btw the place u do breakfast is call River Terrace, yes MO River Terrace in ur 5th meal

and also the MO's coffee shop Verandah serves excellent Asian food such as rad-na noodles in gravy, and Verandah is the only outlet that serves verbena tea; so made MO Verandah the 6th meal

Har... eating from day and night all thru' 3 nights in MO. Better stay there. Don't go out. SS, the magic word came on my earlier posting of the boiled egg hen cover. :) Now it's our action. I'll play that magic next week. Keep you posted. :)

Hi SEA,
3 nights in MO?
And magic playing by you?
Do you mean we can stay there?
I was told by TC no discount from MO so far. This makes me very disappointed since all other hotels are having major discount now.
Even if MO don't give 50% off, may be you can ask the manager to give you some discount for the following reasons:
1) You are a loyal, repeating and automatic customer of MO every time you go to BKK. Also tell them your frequency to BKK. I am sure they are impressed.
2) You are the spokesman of MO(free of charge). Tell them many people come to MO and get addicted to MO because of you.
3) You advertise extensively for MO through your blog and TC's.
You save them lots of advertising fees.
4) You contribute a lot on all the MO restaurants every visit.

Wish I had time to write them if I were not that busy at work.

SS, what you quoted reminded me of someone who often get so pushing to hotels for free stays. Otherwise, he would write something bad about the hotels.

Yes, a magic is to be played by the MO hen. Unfortunately it takes time and technically some problem arose unexpectedly. Sorry. :(
